MULTI AWARD WINNING DADS COMMUNITY

Founded by Stephen in 2023

The Dads Community is more than just a group. It is a grassroots movement helping fathers reconnect with themselves, their families and a sense of belonging.

Built on the belief that no dad should have to do life alone, the community provides a welcoming environment where men can find support, build genuine friendships and become the best version of themselves for their children.

Through the Dads Community, fathers have the opportunity to:

• Connect with like-minded dads who understand the challenges of fatherhood
• Improve their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing
• Build positive routines, healthy habits and greater self-confidence
• Access guidance, mentorship and practical support when needed
• Be part of a supportive network that genuinely looks out for one another

From weekly walks, fitness sessions and family events to workshops, social gatherings and community initiatives, every activity is designed to help dads stay connected, engaged and present in their own lives and the lives of their children.

Many men join looking for friendship, support or simply something positive to be part of. What they often discover is a community that inspires them to grow, challenges them to step forward and reminds them that they are not alone.

The result is stronger fathers, healthier families and a community where men can thrive together.

The PREVENT Initiative

A key focus of the Dads Community is PREVENT.

PREVENT exists to help stop men from reaching crisis point by creating environments where connection, support and positive conversations happen early.

Rather than waiting until someone is struggling deeply, the community aims to provide healthy outlets, positive activities and supportive networks that encourage men to speak up and seek guidance sooner.

PREVENT focuses on:

• Connection and belonging
• Healthy activities and routines
• Positive leadership and role modelling
• Mental health awareness
• Supporting men before isolation becomes crisis

RISE Workshops and Events

The RISE events are powerful small-group workshops designed to help men step forward and take ownership of their lives.

These sessions bring men together to reflect on their direction, reconnect with their values and develop practical tools for growth.

These events combine conversation, mentoring and practical exercises in supportive outdoor environments where men can speak openly and learn from one another.

RISE focuses on:

• Personal ownership and accountability
• Strengthening identity and purpose
• Improving relationships and communication
• Becoming stronger fathers and role models

I started the Dads Community with a simple free weekly BBQ and a belief that no dad should have to do life alone.

Years later, what began with a handful of dads has grown into a thriving community of more than 3,500 fathers, and I'm incredibly proud of the impact it continues to have on dads and their families.
